Notice is hereby given that quotations are invited from suitable, qualified and experienced service provider for the upgrade of auto sampler with the ability to do event sampling.

No Formal Quotation will be awarded to a bidder who is not registered on the Centralised Supplier Database (CSD) and on the Stellenbosch Municipality’s Supplier Database (SMSD).

The CSD supplier number starting with (MAAA) number is automatically generated by the Central Database System after successful registration and validation of a prospective service provider. This number is now a mandatory requirement, as referred to in regulation 14(1)(b) of the Municipal Supply Chain Management Regulations, as part of the listing criteria for accrediting a prospective service provider. Prospective suppliers should self – register on the CSD website at www.csd.gov.za Registration on the CSD will be compulsory in order to conduct business with the STELLENBOSCH MUNICIPALITY. The document is available free of charge on our website at www.stellenbosch.gov.za, however a nonrefundable deposit of R50.00 per document is payable to the Stellenbosch Municipality if collecting a hard copy, during office hours, from The Supply Chain Management Unit, Stellenbosch Municipality, 1st Floor, Room no.121, Plein Street, Stellenbosch.

Sealed bids with the Bidder’s name and address and the endorsement “FQ 320/17 Auto sampler” on the envelope, must be placed in the bid box situated at the Stellenbosch Municipality, Plein Street, Stellenbosch or posted to The Stellenbosch Municipality, PO Box 17, Stellenbosch, 7599 to reach us not later than 28 April 2017 at 11h00 after which the bids will be opened in public.

The bid box is accessible 24 hours a day and bids must be accompanied by the complete set of documents.

Bids not accompanied by the complete bid document, will not be considered.

Late, electronic format or faxed bids will not be considered and the Municipality does not bind itself to accept the lowest, part of or any bid.

Service providers must ensure that all requirements of relevant legislation are adhered to throughout their contract.

The 80/20 points system will be applicable.
